SUMMARY

The Monitoring Center Clinical Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the remote Monitoring Center, including the hiring, training and supervision of CardioNet’s clinical monitoring staff.

Responsibilities

Critical Duties & Responsibilities

·     Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals 

·     Ability to write patient documentation, routine reports and correspondence 

·     Ability to speak effectively to customers and/or co-workers 

·     Articulates using proper grammar, speaks English clearly and can be easily heard and understood by customers 

·     Ability to obtain the trust and confidence of our customers (including MDs, practices, and patients) over the phone

·     Strong organizational skills

  • Impeccable customer service skills
  • Supervision of supervisory staff
  • Mentor less experienced direct reports
  • Ability to maintain a budget and provide justification for expenditures
  • Proficiency with assigned computer system  
  • Manage the day to day operations of the Holter departments in various locations - including the hiring, training and scheduling of all employees
  • Monitor the QA, productivity and attendance of all employees
  • Ensure all BioTelemetry policies and procedures are followed, including HIPAA and Medicare IDTF requirements
  • Provide routine staff meetings and 1-1 meetings with supervisory staff
  • Analysis and focus on quality and efficiency measurements
  • Problem solving of practice, physician and patient service issues
  • Perform annual performance reviews of direct staff and assist in annual performance review of technicians
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experience

Qualifications

 

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • Previous ECG analysis experience required – 5 years minimum
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred – 5 years minimum
  • Demonstrated success at presenting to senior level clinical executives
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to communicate clearly, appropriately, accurately and timely, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate proficiency with computer skills
  • Possess mature, sound judgment as demonstrated by decision-making & analytical abilities
  • Previous experience with HR issues – hiring, disciplining and terminating staff
  • Ability to travel to various locations

Education

  • Bachelor Degree strongly desired
  • CCT or CRAT certification within 90-days of hire (or current RN license with ACLS or EMT/Paramedic with ACLS)
