We are looking for an Electrical Test Technician who will be responsible for the test and qualification of portable medical monitoring devices.


  • Generate test plans and protocols from requirements specifications and/or regulatory standards.
  • Setup, configure and operate tests, test fixtures, and support equipment as required by the test plan and protocol.
  • Generate test reports given the test protocol and all test data.
  • Build, rework and test electrical PCB assemblies and cable harnesses as required.
  • Record and analyze test data and provide recommendations for changes in product or test protocols as required.
  • Validate schematic symbols and PCB component footprints, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Publish library parts to the global eCAD library within established standards for use across the organization.
  • Manage parts and associated attributes in the company’s product lifecycle management (PLM) database.
  • Perform all of these tasks under minimal supervision.


  • Minimum of Associates Degree in Electronics Technology (Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of electrical test experience.
  • Experience with IEC 60601 standards required.
  • IPC-A-610 certification preferred.
  • Understanding of factors influencing electromagnetic emissions and mitigating techniques.
  • Experience with using and maintaining test equipment.
  • Experience collaborating with design engineers.
  • Experience with Altium Designer component library part creation and management preferred.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
