Cardiac Team Lead (Evening Shift)

San Francisco, CA

Reports to: Supervisor, Clinical Operations



3PM-11:30PM – Mon – Fri



Assists the supervisor with assigning work to staff, phone monitoring/reporting and supports escalated work related needs by the staff.


  • Monitor, evaluate personnel in the current monitoring practices to ensure compliance.
  • Performs all of the duties and responsibilities of a SMS Notifications/Reports
  • Assists the Supervisor:
  1. Monitors Evolve phone system reports and agent activity
  2. Handles the escalation of patient and/or client complaints
  3. Distributes work assignments
  • MSA
  • Cardiostation: Trends/Patient Activations/TTM
  • INR
  • Paceart
  1. Addresses assignment changes in workflow
  2. Monitors floor activity
  3. Generate reports for productivity
  4. Update MSA metrics


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


  • Knowledge of EKG monitoring/interpretation and event recorders
  • Able to utilize or learn computer applications in job (Microsoft Office & Access, PaceArt, and others applicable to job).
  • Knowledge of customer service, especially telephone skills and medical documentation concepts
  • EKG monitoring/interpretation experience
  • Previous experience in computer applications
  • Customer service experience highly encouraged
  • Able to work with Microsoft Office programs or ability to learn new programs quickly
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills and can work with age groups over the telephone from children to elderly adults
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.


Education, Training & Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • CCT, CRAT certification, or RCS is preferred; if without, must obtain within 180 days of hire
  • 3 – 5 years ECG analysis experience
  • Minimum one year supervisory or management experience
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player
  • Strong customer service skills
  • High stress tolerance
  • Computer experience with Windows and Microsoft office
  • Must be able to rotate shifts
