San Francisco, CA (Financial District)
Start Date: 1/8/2018
This PAID training will be about 8 weeks in total, (Mon-Fri, 8A-4:30P or something similar to this). You are expected to continuously pass all training modules for this position as a part of meeting normal job expectations. Our Cardiac Technicians hold a very critical role within our company that directly has an effect on our patients’ lives.
After the 8 weeks of training, if you pass, you will be put on shift:
all shifts have alternating holidays
To maintain the highest levels of service by addressing the needs of our customer base.
To monitor incoming basic arrhythmias.
Provide excellent customer service to all internal/external customers.
Other duties as assigned.
We will provide extensive training on how to interpret EKG data.
Working environment- Office setting, still clinical in nature; cube environment with other Cardiac Techs; no face-to-face patient contact - mainly over the phone.
High School Diploma or equivalent required
CCT or CRAT Certification is required within six months of hire
Computer skills are required including proficiency in Windows-based applications and MS Office - Excel, Word and Outlook using multiple platforms
Must have experience in healthcare (previous work experience, clinical training, certificate, etc) and a basic knowledge of the human anatomy.
Must be detail oriented, have excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to analyze complex data.
Familiarity with being evaluated based on quality and quantity of calls - highly preferred
Self starter, demonstrates initiative and flexibility in a fast paced environment
Being a team player, following through on tasks, problem-solving, and multi-tasking are required skills
Patience, professionalism, excellent phone etiquette, and technical skills (can explain technology to people of all ages and skill levels) - required
