The Manager, International Sales identifies, develops and services international country distributor accounts to include maintaining all required contractual and compliance documentation. Studies and identifies market dynamics for individual international countries to determine additional sales and marketing promotional needs. Develops and implements a sales and marketing strategy at the country or local business unit level that will improve the distributor and company's competitive position. Lead and direct all sales and marketing functions as it pertains to our products so activities meet the distributor and company's business objectives, comply with regulations, and protect the organization's reputation internationally. Activities may include: market research, forecasting; pricing, marketing development and support, business development activities; customer service; product sales training; invoicing and payment administration. Negotiate terms of sales with major direct sale clients to maximize the organization's interests. Establish targets in areas such as product mix, sales volume, market share, or business development for each individual distributor. Monitor performance of the distributor against these goals. Liaise with other senior executives across the company to ensure strategies are integrated with the rest of the business and align with corporate objectives.  The ideal candidate will reside in either the United Kingtom or Germany. 


  • Ensures accurate data integrity in Sales Force for all distributors, contacts, accounts, opportunities, sales, and activity reports
  • Maintain in-depth working knowledge of software and products; Train new distributors and customers accordingly.
  • Design and implement training for newly established International Distributor sales teams. 
  • Forecast international sales business; document and track monthly individual distributor sales revenues as it pertains to assigned annual corporate budget targets.
  • Assisting in sales/closing cycles of distributors where applicable.
  • Promptly resolves and documents customer complaints concerning product warranties and performance issues through Sales Force and D4 Quality & Assurance system.
  • Understands organization's policies with regard to financial administration; and help to resolves billing discrepancies.
  • Identify and qualify, using corporate Due Diligence Questionnaire, all potential new international product distributors for the company to build the international sales market. Prepare and implement corporate approved Distributor Agreement for approved Distributors.  Continually monitor established distributor to assure ethical and compliant business standard practices as outlined by the company.
  • Coordinate IFU requirements and documentation for products in all newly established international country distributor territories. Maintain accurate records of all completed translations and transactions in corporate QA D4 system and Sales Force CRM. 
  • Building strong customer relationships.  Acting as the customer’s trusted advisor throughout the sale and after sale support process; serving as an advocate for the customer by providing feedback and recommendations.   This includes understanding the customer’s industry / business model needs and leveraging this knowledge to maximize sales.
  • Representing the BioTelemetry Technology brands professionally and with integrity at all times; Delivering consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Follows all company safety policies and procedures and attend all safety trainings related to the job.



  • University Degree in business or related field preferred


  • 7-10 years’ experience in International Sales for medical products and services in a business-to-business sales environment.
  • Experience identifying and building international distributor sales networks.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving skills, and organizational skills with an ability to work closely with customers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

  • Set performance standards for distributors and implement appropriate metrics to monitor compliance
  • Must be proactive, solve problems, anticipate needs and have the necessary drive, enthusiasm and sense of urgency to achieve results.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and create partnerships with other departments and all levels of management.
  • Ability to manage through change and to lead change when appropriate.
  • Ability to remain calm, composed and professional in fast-paced and sensitive customer situations.
